Hey, welcome!
Who makes up Team Stinky Cat?
Zach mostly does programming, and Austin mostly does design, though we both do a little of everything. We get together once a week to go over goals, ideas, and play testing our projects.
What kinds of projects have you made?
As a team, we've submitted two entries to the Seattle Indies Slow Jam, in addition to our first release in May 2024: Top Paw Donuts!
So cute! What was the inspiration for Top Paw Donuts?
Top Paw Donuts combines three of our favorite things: games, cats, and donuts. Austin wondered what twist we could put on falling-block games, like Puyo-Puyo or Tetris, and thought it would be fun to add some multitasking elements. This brought about the coffee mechanic — we think it's fun to balance performing both tasks!
Anything in the works right now?
Yes actually, something a little different for us! We're adapting a board game Austin made in college into a strategy RPG. Still early in the works, but development is going well. We hope to publish more info soon!
Who's the cat then? And are they stinky?
That's Sea Salt, Austin's cat! She's not like, smelly — she's stinky in a metaphysical way that transcends this plane, like most cats are. Between us we have four cats: Austin has Sea Salt and Mouse, and Zach has June and Pumpernickel. And all smell perfectly normal, trust us.
